In order to celebrate the first week of school’s end, our family & some friends went to D.I.Y Yogurt! Once our yummy yogurt was devoured, we played over at Santee Lakes – vast, beautiful & peaceful … especially when the girls wander off to find scenes for their photography class and leave mom on her blanket!
After studying their work in class, Cassie and Vicky each had to pick one photo to submit for their class. I like them both!
The dimensions in Vicky’s photo - fall leaves in front, old wooden posts in focus and reflecting ripples farthest away – invite a visual journey for those who want to linger.
The action and color in Cassie’s photo is striking. Brilliant blues and scattering heron.
